Laurie S. Novosad, M.D., FASCRS

Laurie S. Novosad, M.D., FASCRS, is board certified in colon and rectal surgery. Dr. Novosad serves as medical director of surgical services at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – McKinney, her hometown. She gained extensive experience in minimally invasive procedures during an additional minimally invasive fellowship at Orlando Health.

Dr. Novosad enjoys building a relationship with the people she treats and their loved ones. She believes that each person should be part of their own treatment plan and feel informed. She explains the diagnosis, treatment plan, and recovery clearly and in detail, giving time and space for questions and discussion throughout.
