Christian Sommerhalder, M.D., MMS

Christian Sommerhalder, M.D., MMS, is board certified in general surgery. Since he was eight years old, he watched surgical or trauma TV shows. He was enthralled in the skill set of a surgical physician. It inspired him to become a doctor. Personally having gastrointestinal issues, Dr. Sommerhalder was naturally drawn to the colorectal field.

Dr. Sommerhalder’s approach patient care in a preventative approach and treating the entire patient – not just a condition. Just because you have surgery doesn’t mean we can’t help you become a healthier person. Outside of work, his family is most important to him. Secondarily, he thrives on anything that will get raise his adrenaline.
