She enjoys spending time with her patients to help them understand their disease, using her expertise to guide them. Her philosophy is ‘treat the whole patient’ with a personalized and integrative approach. Her goal is to listen and work to address each patient's concerns. She collaborates with patients to develop treatment plans that optimize physical, mental, and emotional health.
With more than 15 years of surgical experience, Dr. Dao's technique specializes in using hidden scar and oncoplastic surgical procedures to restore the natural breast and minimize the cosmetic defect of the tumor removal.
Dr. Dao grew up in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area and briefly left Texas to attend college at UC Berkeley (Go Bears!). She returned home to be close to her family. In her free time, she enjoys skiing, hiking, and spending beach vacations with her husband and two children.
