Breast Surgery

Kaitlin Bokhari, M.D., FACS, is board certified in general surgery and completed fellowship training in breast surgical oncology. Dr. Bokhari believes in partnering with every patient and their care team to provide a comprehensive treatment plan that is tailored to their individual needs. Just as no two women are the same, she believes no two cancers are the same. Getting to know her patients personally and honoring their priorities is her primary goal during treatment.
Dr. Bokhari has a very personal commitment to caring for breast cancer patients, as her family carries a BRCA1 gene and have been patients themselves. She has particular interest in counselling women who are at increased risk for developing breast cancer; empowering them to be able to make informed decisions about enhanced screenings or preventative surgery.
Dr. Bokhari uses advanced surgical techniques, including nipple sparring and hidden scar procedures to prioritize both oncologic and cosmetic outcomes.
In her spare time, Dr. Bukhari enjoys cooking for her family and friends, yoga, and being outdoors.
Dr. Bokhari currently serves as the medical director for the Breast Surgical Oncology Program at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Frisco at PGA Parkway.
