Edward J. Clifford, M.D., FACS is a highly respected breast surgeon in Dallas with a long-standing commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care. Dr. Clifford has been recognized for his comprehensive approach to breast cancer management and treatment by being honored several times in D Magazine, Living Magazine and has been named Texas Monthly Super Doctors over a dozen times and named every year since 2016.
He is passionate about taking a proactive approach to prevention and treatment of breast cancer. He leads a High Risk Assessment and Management Clinic where he actively evaluates, counsels and creates a management plan for patients who do not have a cancer diagnosis but may face an increased risk of breast cancer due to family history or other risk factors.
His commitment to comprehensive breast health is further reflected by his active involvement in breast cancer research. He has been well published over the past 3 decades and has been instrumental in changing current treatment and management of breast cancer through his work with sentinel node research.
