Lova Arenivas, M.D.
Clinical Breast Radiology

About
Lova Arenivas, M.D., is board certified in diagnostic radiology. Growing up in Rwanda, the compassion of missionary doctors and the resilience of the people they served inspired her. Medicine allowed Dr. Arenivas to harness the power of science to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives. Medicine is an ideal blend of scientific inquiry and service – using knowledge to bring healing and hope to others.
With more than 15 years of experience as a breast imaging specialist, she believes true healing involves more than a diagnosis. It requires caring for the whole person – body, mind, and spirit. Medicine is both science and art, and she treats every person as she would a family member.
Her approach is deeply personal and rooted in evidence-based medicine. She builds trust, provides hope, and guides each person with compassion through what can be a frightening and uncertain time. She is drawn to rapid advancements in imaging technology and minimally invasive, image-guided procedures to improve accuracy and the experience.
She is passionate about helping women feel informed and empowered about their health. She regularly volunteers, speaks at community events, and serves the Panhandle Cancer Cure Foundation. She is a wellness enthusiast, curious cook, wishful artist, and loves exploring new places with her family.
