DALLAS – Texas Urology Specialists, part of Texas Oncology, one of the largest community-based oncology practices in the U.S., announced today that the urology care team at USMD is joining the practice, effective March 1. This expansion adds 13 physicians, five advanced practice providers, and more than 45 support staff members to Texas Urology Specialists, along with four locations in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex.

The newly acquired locations are:
- 811 W. Interstate 20, Ste. 114, Arlington
- 1615 Hospital Pkwy, Ste 204, Bedford
- 5450 Clearfork Main St., Ste. 420, Fort Worth
- 1209 Medical Plaza Ct., Granbury
The USMD urology care team that is joining Texas Oncology currently treats nearly 10,000 new patients per year. The physician team is recognized for pioneering the application of innovative robotic surgery techniques in urology care in the north Texas area, and for expertise in minimally invasive stone treatment.

With the USMD addition, Texas Urology Specialists now has 35 physicians practicing at 23 locations in the Austin, Dallas-Fort Worth, and Houston metropolitan areas, and one location in Longview. Texas Urology Specialists is part of Texas Oncology’s surgical group, which includes more than 140 surgeons, with specialties in breast, gynecologic oncology, urology, colon and rectal, neuro oncology, thoracic, and surgical oncology. Texas Oncology surgeons performed more than 152,000 procedures last year.
