Scheduling an Appointment:
You may schedule your appointment with Texas Oncology–Austin Midtown by calling 512-421-4100.
Before calling to schedule your first appointment with us, please check whether your health insurance provider requires a referral from a primary care physician as a condition for your seeing a cancer specialist. If so, please ask your primary care physician to call us with a referral in advance of making an appointment.

When scheduling your first appointment, please have the following information available, most of which is on your member identification card:
- Name of your insurance company
- Plan number
- Policy number
- Claims-related contact information
Upon receipt of this information, we will verify your insurance coverage and benefits prior to your visit. We will also inform you of any out-of-pocket expenses that may be due upon your visit.
