Message from our president, Dr. Steven Paulson March 13, 2020

March 13, 2020

Dear Patients,

As you and your family watch the rapidly evolving public health concern surrounding coronavirus (COVID-19), I want to assure you that Texas Oncology is closely monitoring these developments and taking actions to protect the health and well being of our patients and staff.

Our COVID-19 task force is continually monitoring, evaluating and updating our response. Our decisions are guided by recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and other federal agencies; daily input from the Texas Oncology clinical and operational team, and our patient-first culture.

As a result, you may notice changes in our clinics in the coming days and weeks. These measures are a part of our commitment – our promise – to do the right thing, and to ensure the critical care our patients need is not interrupted.

With COVID-19 now officially declared a pandemic, we know you will have questions about how COVID-19 may impact your treatment or visits to our locations. We will continue to post updates here about Texas Oncology’s response to COVID-19. For more information or urgent questions, please call our office to speak with your care team directly.

Your health is our priority. Across the practice, we are committed to taking all measures necessary to ensure the health and safety of you and your caregivers, our physicians and staff, and our communities.

Sincerely,

R. Steven Paulson, M.D.
President and Chairman of the Board
