Changing Bacteria's Genetic Code Could Make Certain Drugs Last Longer

Researchers at The University of Texas at Austin have found a way to stabilize therapeutic proteins in drugs to make them more effective and last longer, leading to less frequent doses and fewer side effects for patients with cancer and diseases.
