Debra Patt, M.D., PhD, MBA, medical oncologist and executive vice president at Texas Oncology, discussed how the expansion of telehealth has enabled Texas Oncology to reduce clinic volumes and create a safer environment for cancer patients that are at a higher risk for contracting the COVID-19. According to Dr. Patt, treatment cannot be paused for patients with advanced cancer and a strategic approach is needed to manage patients.
