Austin Business Journal recently named 143 nominees for this year's Profiles in Power. Now in its 27th year, the Profiles in Power program honors the women shaping the future of Central Texas. Texas Oncology is pleased to share that Helen Eshed, M.D., gynecologic oncologist at Texas Oncology–Austin Central, Heather King, M.D., FACS, of Texas Breast Specialists–Austin and Lakshmi Balasubramanian, M.D., medical oncologist at Texas Oncology–Cedar Park are all finalists in this years Profiles in Power award. The five overall winners will be named, plus one Rising Star age 30 or younger, in the Aug. 27 weekly edition.
