Cancer Patient Marks End of Proton Therapy with Gong Ceremony

Six-year-old, Caitlynee Truett, celebrated her final proton treatment on January 23 with a gong ceremony. After Caitlynne was diagnosed with medulloblastoma, a rare form of brain cancer, she received proton therapy – an ultra-precise form of radiation – at Texas Center for Proton Therapy. While Caitlynne will move forward with chemotherapy, she has seen incredible improvement with the proton therapy.
