DALLAS – Breast surgical oncologist Allison A. DiPasquale, M.D., has joined the leading-edge cancer care team at Texas Breast Specialists. Dr. DiPasquale will practice primarily at Texas Breast Specialists–Methodist Charlton Cancer Center and secondarily at Texas Breast Specialists–Methodist Dallas Cancer Center.

Dr. DiPasquale received her medical degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine in True Blue, Grenada. She completed her residency in general surgery and served as chief resident and chief of curriculum at Lahey Clinic Hospital in Burlington, Mass. “I look forward to working with the established teams of breast care experts at Texas Breast Specialists, and to serving patients with both short and long-term aspects of care in mind,” Dr. DiPasquale said.

Dr. DiPasquale is board certified in general surgery and practices oncoplastic reconstruction of the breast to leave both the patient and the breast with minimal reminders of cancer. Her research interests include triple negative breast cancer, intraoperative radiation, and leading-edge techniques to improve the appearance of the breast after surgery.

“The expertise of Dr. DiPasquale and Dr. Koonsman in breast surgery and oncology, as well as breast care for non-cancerous conditions, will benefit patients throughout Dallas and the surrounding area,” said Stacie Harris, practice director, Texas Breast Specialists–Methodist Charlton Cancer Center and Texas Breast Specialist–Methodist Dallas Cancer Center.
