General Summary

Trisha Nichols is a Regional Coordinator for the Texas Oncology Genetic Risk Evaluation and Testing (GREAT) Program. Trisha provides education and operational support to Texas Oncology GREAT sites in Dallas and East Texas. She is committed to making high quality genetic services available to patients and their families, in their own communities.

Trisha came to Texas Oncology from Baylor Scott & White Health in Temple, Texas , where she provided prenatal, pediatric, cancer, neurology, cardiology and other adult genetic counseling for five years. Prior to pursuing a career in genetic counseling, Trisha worked as a research technician at the Stowers Institute for Medical Research in Kansas City, Missouri.


Trisha earned her Master of Science in Genetic Counseling from the University of Texas Health Science Center Houston. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Baker University, in Baldwin City, Kansas.
