Research Interest

Dr. Drake’s goal is to provide evidence-based cancer care with access to leading-edge surgical procedures and technologies. He is also focused on providing his patients with access to newly-developed treatments by participating in a wide spectrum of clinical trials provided by Texas Oncology. Dr. Drake’s research has centered on improving the early detection and diagnosis of gynecologic cancers as well as advancing minimally invasive surgery to improve his patient's quality of life.

Dr. Drake is trained in Da Vinci robotic surgery as well as conventional laparoscopic surgery. He also incorporates single port technology to offer patients quicker recovery and less scarring.
