Leslie is an Austin native, raised by parents who worked together as medical professions caring for individuals with cancer. Their influence inspired in her an early passion and appreciation for serving and supporting those affected by illness and ultimately led to her career as an oncology social worker.

She completed her masters fellowship at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, where she continued working in both inpatient and outpatient settings for several years before returning to the Austin area and Texas Oncology.

Leslie enjoys walking alongside patients and families to provide emotional and practical support during and after illness. In her spare time, she’s likely to be exploring the Hill Country and spending time outdoors with her family.
