Dilip Solanki, M.D.

General Summary

Dilip Solanki, M.D. specializes in internal medicine, medical oncology and hematology. He is board certified in hematology, internal medicine and medical oncology. Dr. Solanki was Professor of Medicine at the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine and also held academic appointments at Georgetown University School of Medicine and the George Washington University School of Medicine. He served as the principal investigator for the Southwest Oncology Group at the University of Oklahoma. Dr. Solanki has authored over 35 articles and book chapters and reviewed manuscripts for the Annuals of Internal Medicine, the American Journal of Medical Sciences and Western Journal of Medicine.

Education

Dr. Solanki received medical training at the Medical College at the M.S. University of Baroda in India. In 1967, he completed an internship at the S.S.G. Hospital and Medical College in Baroda, India, and then another internship at Illinois Masonic Hospital in Chicago, Illinois. He completed a residency at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Brooklyn, New York in 1971 and a fellowship at George Washington University affiliated programs in Washington, D.C. in 1974.
