In this webinar Nicole Hodac, MS, RDN, CSO, LD, a board certified oncology dietitian with Texas Oncology–Baylor Sammons Cancer Center, shares tips and tools to put food storage and meal preparation at its best when sheltering in place. Food safety, ingredients substitutions, recipe stretch and nutrients for optimal immune health are the cornerstones of this session.

Nicole Hodac, MS, RDN, CSO, LD, is an oncology dietitian with Texas Oncology–Baylor Sammons Cancer Center. During her nine years of clinical experience, Nicole has equipped cancer patients with the tools to maintain proper nutrition during treatment and help combat side effects and illness. She serves as a patient advocate working with the medical oncology team to develop a healthful eating plan. Nicole often works with the patient and caregiver to dispel common nutrition myths and find alternative food sources for patients to maintain or increase weight and increase fluid intake. Nicole is an active member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and the Oncology Nutrition dietetic practice group.
