Dr. Lalon Wilfong, a medical oncologist and hematologist at Texas Oncology–Presbyterian Cancer Center Dallas, was featured in an OBR Green article covering results and implications from the American Society of Clinical Oncology’s recent report on the state of cancer care in America. Dr. Wilfong discussed the benefits and challenges that came from Texas Oncology’s participation in an Oncology Care Model (OCM) demonstration project and also elaborated on the importance of value-based cancer care.
