Dr. Daniel Hermann works as an interventional cardiologist at Memorial Hermann Health System, but when he is not at the hospital, he can be found at least twice a week on the basketball court. When Dr. Hermann discovered a blood clot in his leg, Dr. Muffaddal Morkas, M.D., hematologist and medical oncologist at Texas Oncology—Houston Memorial City and Memorial Hermann, treated him and got him back out on the court, this time wearing compression socks.
