Baylor Health, Texas Oncology Collaborate on North Texas's First Proton Radiation Therapy Center

Dallas-based Baylor Health Care System and Texas Oncology will break ground today on north Texas's first facility offering proton radiation therapy, according to a Star-Telegram report. The Texas Center for Proton Therapy, a 63,000-square-foot facility, will feature three treatment rooms, imaging services and labs, according to the report. There are currently 11 such facilities in the United States and 37 worldwide.
