We are committed to making your first visit to our office a smooth and comfortable experience. Upon your arrival, you will be warmly welcomed into our extended family of cancer care professionals. We will treat you with compassion and dignity as we familiarize you with our staff, procedures, and facilities.
Scheduling an Appointment:
If you are a new patient, a physician referral is needed before an appointment can be scheduled. You may schedule your appointment with Texas Oncology-Waco by calling: 254-399-0741.
Before calling to schedule your first appointment with us, please check whether your health insurance provider requires a referral from a primary care physician as a condition for your seeing a cancer specialist. If so, please ask your primary care physician to call us with a referral in advance of making an appointment.

When scheduling your first appointment, please have the following information available, most of which is on your member identification card:
- Name of your insurance company
- Plan number
- Policy number
- Claims-related contact information
Upon receipt of this information, we will verify your insurance coverage and benefits prior to your visit. We will also inform you of any out-of-pocket expenses that may be due upon your visit.

Approaching Waco from the north, on Interstate 35 southbound:
• Take Exit 330, at the intersection of Highway 6 and Loop 340
• Go west (right) on Highway 6
• Take the Midway Park exit
• At the first opportunity, do a U-turn under Highway 6, putting you on the eastbound frontage road
• Texas Oncology Cancer Care and Research Center will be on your right.
Approaching Waco from the south, on Interstate 35 northbound:
• Take Exit 330, at the intersection of Highway 6 and Loop 340
• Go west (left) on Highway 6
• Take the Midway Park exit
