Texas Oncology-Tyler is open from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. If you call the center at other times, our answering service will take your call and will notify your doctor immediately should you require urgent medical attention.

Emergency and After Hours:
If you are experiencing a life-threatening medical emergency, please call 911 immediately. Upon arrival at the emergency room, ask the staff to call your Texas Oncology physician at 903-579-9800.
If you feel that you need an immediate medical consultation or advice regarding a serious condition, do not hesitate to call your Texas Oncology physician at 903-579-9800. If you call outside of center hours, our attendant will page a physician on your behalf who will respond quickly. Since it may not be your personal physician who responds to your call, you should be prepared to provide the following information to the attendant on duty:
- Your diagnosis
- Any chemotherapy drugs you are taking
- Your temperature
- The phone number of your pharmacy
Medical Records:
If you or your physician needs copies of your medical records, please allow 3 to 5 business days for processing. Please contact us at the number below to obtain a release of information (ROI) form or to request more information.
Please include the following information with your request for medical records:
- Name
- Date of birth
- Date of services rendered
- Date of request
- Physician's name
- The nature of your inquiry
