Calling the Office:
We are available for office visits and to receive telephone calls from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday: 830-875-7000.
If you call our center at other times, our answering service will take your call and will notify your doctor immediately should you require urgent medical attention.
Emergency and After Hours:
If you are experiencing a life-threatening medical emergency, please call 911 immediately. Upon arrival at the emergency room, ask the staff to call your Texas Oncology physician at 830-875-7000.
If you feel that you need an immediate medical consultation or advice regarding a serious condition, do not hesitate to call your Texas Oncology physician at 830-875-7000. If you call outside of center hours, we will page a physician on your behalf who will respond quickly. Since it may not be your personal physician who returns your call, you should be prepared to provide the following information to the attendant on duty:
- Your diagnosis
- Any chemotherapy drugs you are taking
- Your temperature
- The phone number of your pharmacy
