Christine M. Lee, M.D., and Aparna A. Kamat, M.D., Join Texas Oncology
New Gynecologic Oncologists to Practice in The Woodlands, Sugar Land, and Willowbrook

Drs. Christine M. Lee and Aparna A. Kamat, specialists in gynecologic oncology, have joined Texas Oncology. Dr. Lee will see patients at her existing practice location in The Woodlands, while Dr. Kamat will practice at both Texas Oncology–Sugar Land and Texas Oncology–Willowbrook. Texas Oncology has cancer treatment facilities throughout communities in Texas and southeastern New Mexico.
Dr. Lee received her medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, Mich., after graduating cum laude from Wellesley College in Boston, Mass. She completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at The University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. Dr. Lee completed a fellowship in gynecologic oncology at The University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston. While at M.D. Anderson, Dr. Lee received a Master of Science degree in cancer biology from The University of Texas Health Science Center.

Dr. Kamat received her medical degree from Seth G. S. Medical College in Bombay, India. She completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the West Virginia University Hospitals in Morgantown, W.Va. Dr. Kamat also completed a fellowship in gynecologic oncology at The University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston. Prior to joining Texas Oncology, Dr. Kamat served as an assistant professor in obstetrics and gynecology at the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston and a clinical instructor in gynecologic oncology at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center.

Dr. Lee is double board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology and gynecologic oncology. Dr. Kamat is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology and board-eligible in gynecologic oncology. They are members of the Society of Gynecologic Oncology, American Society of Clinical Oncology and the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
