Texas Oncology–Amarillo Celebrates the Opening of Texas Breast Specialists

Texas Oncology–Amarillo will formally welcome the Amarillo medical community, local leaders and dignitaries, patients, and the public to the new Texas Breast Specialists center.
Texas Breast Specialists offers the most advanced breast cancer screening and diagnostic services and the highest standard of care, led by John “Chip” Coscia, M.D., whose practice has been limited to breast imaging for more than 22 years and who is the first and only dedicated clinical breast radiologist in the Panhandle.
Texas Breast Specialists–Amarillo is accredited by the American College of Radiology and is a digital facility solely dedicated to providing mammography, breast ultrasound, ductography, stereotactic and ultrasound-guided breast needle and vacuum-probe biopsies, and second opinion consultations. Dr. Coscia is proud to be the first in the Panhandle to offer Breast-Specific Gamma Imaging (BSGI), a state-of-the-art examination, which is the most highly sensitive and specific technology available to detect breast cancer.
