Srinivas Kodali, M.D., Newest Physician to Join Texas Oncology

Dr. Srinivas Kodali, a specialist in medical oncology and hematology, has joined the leading-edge cancer treatment team at Texas Oncology–Beaumont Mamie McFaddin Ward Cancer Center. Texas Oncology has cancer treatment facilities throughout communities in Texas and southeastern New Mexico.

Dr. Kodali received his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery degree from Guntur Medical College in India. He completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center in Brooklyn, N.Y., where he was appointed chief resident. Dr. Kodali also completed a fellowship in hematology and oncology at Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center.

“I am proud to join Texas Oncology and be part of a cancer treatment group providing the highest standard of care to our Beaumont area patients,” said Dr. Kodali. “I look forward to helping our patients by providing the latest therapies and most advanced treatments.

His wealth of experience in medical oncology and hematology enhances the quality of care we provide to our patients and the community,” said Dr. Robert Birdwell, a medical oncologist at Texas Oncology–Beaumont Mamie McFaddin Ward Cancer Center.

Dr. Kodali is board certified in internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine and board eligible in hematology and medical oncology. He is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology, American Society of Hematology, American College of Physicians, and the American Medical Association. Dr. Kodali has presented his research work at American Society of Hematology and American Society of Clinical Oncology conferences and has also published several articles in peer reviewed journals.
