Social Services

Some Texas Oncology locations have licensed social workers on staff who team with physicians and staff members to address patients' psychosocial needs. Social workers provide emotional support to patients and their families through individual counseling and support groups. They also help patients with financial challenges by connecting them to services and resources in their communities such as disability services, supplemental Medicaid programs, and medication assistance programs

The following contacts connect you to more information regarding social services available to cancer patients and their families.
