You First Appointment
We are committed to making your first visit to our office a smooth and comfortable experience. Upon your arrival, you will be warmly welcomed into our extended family of cancer care professionals. We will treat you with compassion and dignity as we familiarize you with our staff, procedures, and facilities.
Scheduling an Appointment:
You may schedule your appointment with Texas Oncology-Medical City Dallas Radiation Oncology by calling 972-566-7031.
Before calling to schedule your first appointment with us, please check whether your health insurance provider requires a referral from a primary care physician as a condition for your seeing a cancer specialist. If so, please ask your primary care physician to call us with a referral in advance of making an appointment.

When scheduling your first appointment, please have the following information available, most of which is on your member identification card:
- Name of your insurance company
- Plan number
- Policy number
- Claims-related contact information
Upon receipt of this information, we will verify your insurance coverage and benefits prior to your visit. We will also inform you of any out-of-pocket expenses that may be due upon your visit.

Our radiation parking lot offers free parking.
Driving directions from the airport: Leave the airport through the north end to I635 going east. After going through the toll gate, watch the signs: your exit will be to the right. You will pass Highway 114. Exit 635 going east. Proceed on 635, past Beltline Rd., McArthur, I-30, Webb Chapel, Marsh, Dallas North Tollway, Montfort, and Preston. The next exit is Hillcrest. Exit from 635 and stay on the service road (do not turn onto Hillcrest). At the first stop sign, turn right onto Park Central. Go through the stop light at Merit Street and watch for the Radiation parking lot sign on the left, turn left. The parking lot is on your left. Ring the gate for entry.

Where to Stay:
The medical complex is surrounded by several hotels that offer discounts to family members of patients in the hospital. Please ask for a current list of the participating hotels.
Where to Eat:
The campus offers numerous choices for dining. They range from the hospital cafeteria to private vendors offering Italian, Chinese and barbeque. There are also several gift shops that offer snacks, flowers and gift items.
