Amarillo Blood and Marrow Transplant Program
Physicians and nurses at the Amarillo Blood and Marrow Transplant Program (ABMTP) provide blood and marrow stem cell transplantation services to patients, primarily those with leukemia, lymphoma, myelodysplastic syndromes, and multiple myeloma. ABMTP is one of only 12 programs in Texas that is accredited by the Foundation for the Accreditation of Cellular Therapy, having demonstrated an exceptional level of patient care and medical and laboratory practices.

ABMTP also has been designated a National Marrow Donor Program transplant center, so area blood cancer patients now have access to the largest marrow and stem cell donor registry in the nation. ABMPT was awarded this designation based on an evaluation of its processes and physician training and experience, as well as the clinical data produced from transplant patients.

Texas Breast Specialists
Texas Breast Specialists is a part of Texas Oncology. Texas Breast Specialists and Texas Oncology provide comprehensive breast care, including breast screening and diagnostic services, medical oncology, and radiation oncology for cancer and other breast diseases, all within the same family of physicians. Texas Breast Specialists has been designated a Breast Imaging Center of Excellence by the American College of Radiology for earning accreditation in mammography, stereotactic breast biopsy, and breast ultrasound.

Amarillo Breast Center of Excellence
In October 2010, the Amarillo Breast Center of Excellence became the first breast cancer program within 350 miles of Amarillo to receive a three-year, full accreditation designation by the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers (NAPBC), a program administered by the American College of Surgeons. NAPBC accreditation has been granted to only 210 breast care centers nationwide, following a rigorous evaluation process. The Amarillo Breast Center of Excellence is a collaborative partnership between Texas Oncology–Amarillo Cancer Center, Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center-Amarillo Campus, and Northwest Texas Healthcare System.
