Highly Specialized Physicians Join Texas Oncology
Eight New Physicians to Serve Patients in the Houston Region

Specialists, and Texas Breast Specialists welcome eight new physicians to locations
across the Houston region. Among the new additions are physicians with specialties
in medical oncology, radiation oncology, urology, gynecologic oncology, and breast
surgery.
A total of eight new doctors will
be practicing at various Texas Oncology, Texas Urology Specialists, and Texas
Breast Specialists locations, including Texas Oncology–Deke Slayton Cancer
Center, Texas Oncology–Houston, Texas Oncology–Katy, Texas Oncology–Memorial
City, Texas Oncology–Memorial Hermann Memorial City Radiation Oncology, Texas
Oncology–Sugar Land, Texas Urology Specialists–Katy, Texas Urology Specialists–Memorial
City, Texas Urology Specialists–Sugar Land, and Texas Urology
Specialists–Willowbrook.

physicians to Texas Oncology, Texas Urology Specialists, and Texas Breast
Specialists as we continue to seek opportunities to enhance the quality of care
we provide to Houston-area patients,” said Bob Patman, executive director of
Texas Oncology for the Houston
region. “Most of these physicians already understand this community and its
needs very well because they have either lived, practiced medicine, or received
medical training in Houston and Galveston. We are very
pleased that these doctors are part of our team of medical professionals.”
Drs. Geri-Lynn Fromm and Terri
Pustilnik, specialists in gynecologic oncology, will practice at Texas
Oncology–Houston. Dr. Fromm received her medical degree from Northwestern University
Medical School
in Chicago, Ill.,
while Dr. Pustilnik received her medical degree from
Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Mo.
Both physicians completed a fellowship at The University of Texas M.D. Anderson
Cancer Center in Houston, Texas. Prior to joining Texas Oncology, both
were physicians with Gynecologic Oncology of Houston, which Dr. Fromm founded
in 1990. Both physicians are certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and
Gynecology.
Dr. Pustilnik will also practice at
the Texas Oncology–Deke
Slayton Cancer
Center along with Dr. Divyang Mehta, one of two radiation oncologists to join Texas
Oncology in the Houston
region. Dr. Mehta joined Texas Oncology from the Radiation
Oncology Centers
in Las Vegas, Nev., where he utilized some of the most
advanced and integrated image-guided radiation therapy systems to effectively
treat cancer tumors. He earned a Master of Health Physics degree in epidemiology/biostatistics,
a Master of Arts in medical sciences from Boston University School of Medicine,
and a medical degree from Howard University College of Medicine in Washington,
D.C.
Another radiation oncologist to
join Texas Oncology’s team of medical experts is Dr. Rosalyn Michele Morrell. She joins Texas Oncology from Chandler Regional
Cancer Center
in Chandler, Ariz., where she spent five years serving
that community as a radiation oncologist. Dr. Morrell is a graduate of the University of Arizona
in Tucson, Ariz., where she also completed her radiation
oncology residency. She also completed a fellowship from Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn., and a
residency in internal medicine from St. Joseph’s
Hospital and Medical Center in Phoenix,
Ariz. Dr. Morrell is certified by
the American Board of Radiology. Dr. Morrell will practice at Texas Oncology–Memorial
Hermann Memorial City Radiation Oncology.
Breast surgeon Dr. Jamie
Elizabeth Terry, who joins Texas
Breast Specialists, graduated with honors from Stanford
University in Stanford,
Calif., and moved to Houston
after graduating from Northwestern University School of Medicine in Chicago, Ill.
In 1994, Dr. Terry became the first African-American woman, and only the third
female, to graduate from the general surgery training program at St. Joseph Medical
Center in Houston. She has received specialized
training in image-guided breast biopsies and laparoscopic surgery. Dr. Terry is certified
by the American Board of Surgery. She will practice at Texas
Oncology–Memorial City and Texas
Oncology–Sugar Land.
Dr. Gurjyot Kaur Doshi, a specialist in medical oncology, has
joined Texas Oncology and will practice at Texas Oncology–Katy and Texas Oncology–Memorial
City. Dr. Doshi completed
her undergraduate studies from Texas A&M University
in College Station, Texas,
and received her medical degree from J.J.M.
Medical College
in India.
She completed a fellowship in hematology/oncology and her residency in internal
medicine from Henry Ford Hospital
in Detroit, Mich. Dr. Doshi is board certified in
internal medicine, hematology, and medical oncology, and has a particular
interest in prostate, bladder, and kidney cancers.
Dr. Thomas T. Hoang, a specialist in urology, is joining Texas Urology
Specialists from Tufts University School of Medicine, where he served as a
clinical instructor in the department of urology.Dr. Hoang received his medical degree from The University of Texas
Medical Branch (UTMB) in Galveston,Texas,where he also completed his residency
in general surgery and urology and served as chief resident. Following residency, Dr. Hoang completed a
fellowship in robotic and laparoscopic urology at Caritas St. Elizabeth’s
Medical Center in Boston, Mass. Dr. Hoang is trained in all aspects of
adult and pediatric urology. Dr. Hoang is originally from Arlington,
Va., but attended high school in Houston where he graduated as valedictorian from Klein Forest
High School. He will
practice at Texas
Urology Specialists–Memorial
City and Texas Urology Specialists–Willowbrook.
Dr. Zachary R. Mucher, also a urologist and a native of San Antonio, Texas, comes
to Texas Urology Specialists from the David
Grant USAF
Medical Center
in Fairfield, Calif., where he served as chief of urology.
Dr. Mucher received his medical degree from UTMB in Galveston. After medical school, he pursued a
career in urology by completing his five-year residency at the University of
Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas,
Texas. Dr. Mucher, who is board
certified by the American Board of Urology, will practice at Texas Urology
Specialists–Katy, Texas Urology Specialists–Memorial City, and Texas Urology
Specialists–Sugar Land. Dr. Mucher proudly served in Iraq, acting as the sole
Air Force urologist in theater during the troop surge of 2007, for which he
received the Air Force Commendation Medal.

records will add depth to our overall patient care approach and help us positively
impact the lives of patients and their families.”
