Howard Lippman, M.D., is board certified by the American Board of Urology and specializes in general adult urology and urologic oncology, cancers of the kidney, bladder, prostate and testicles. Dr. Lippman has a special interest in the minimally invasive treatment of female incontinence, kidney stones and prostate disorders. Dr. Lippman also performs in-office vasectomies and microwave treatments for enlarged prostate as well as erectile dysfunction. Dr. Lippman was in private practice for more than 20 years prior to joining Texas Urology Specialists.
Background / Education:
Dr. Lippman graduated magna cum laude from the University of Arizona, in Tucson, AZ, in 1978. He earned his medical degree from the University of Arizona College of Medicine in Tucson, AZ, in 1986. He completed residencies in both general surgery and urology at The University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, TX.

Dr. Lippman is a member of the American Medical Association, American Urological Association, Harris County Medical Society, Texas Urologic Association, Houston Urologic Society and the American Association of Clinical Urologists. He was honored by “H” Magazine as a Houston Top Doc in 2008, 2009 and 2010. He was named to the Consumer Research Council of America’s Top Urologist list in 2008 and the America's Top Surgeon list in 2010 and 2013.
