Dr. Agura received an M.D. with honors in Pharmacology in 1982 from New York University’s School of Medicine in New York City. In 1986, he attended the University of Washington to complete a senior fellowship in oncology. Dr. Agura served on staff at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, 1989-1994, performing basic research in leukemia and treating patients with bone marrow transplantation.
