Courtney Sheinbein, M.D.
Dr. Sheinbein is currently board certified in Radiation Oncology by the American Board of Radiology. Dr. Sheinbein practices general Radiation Oncology but has a special interest in central nervous system and lung malignancies. Additionally, he is trained in highly conformal radiotherapy techniques including intensity-modulated radiation therapy, stereotactic body radiotherapy, and stereotactic radiosurgery.
Background / Education:
Dr. Sheinbein completed his Residency in Radiation Oncology at Baylor College of Medicine from 2004-2008, and was Chief Resident from 2007 to 2008. He also completed his Transitional Residency at Austin Medical Education Programs from 2003 to 2004. He obtained his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas from 1999 to 2003. Dr. Sheinbein obtained his Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from 1995 to 1999 at the University of Texas at Austin and graduated summa cum laude.

Dr. Sheinbein is a member of the American Society for Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology, the Texas Medical Association and the Texas Radiological Society. He is Treasurer of the Williamson County Medical Society from 2014 to 2016, was the President in 2013, President Elect in 2012, and on the Board of Censors from 2011-2012. He was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society in 2002.
