Dr. Wu holds a Masters Degree in Cancer Biology and Radiation Biology from The University of Texas Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences at MD Anderson Center and has published extensively in the field of Radiation Oncology.
Dr. Wu has a special clinical interest in Gynecologic, Breast, Genitourinary and Head & Neck malignancies. She is trained in the use of Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT), 3D Conformal Radiation Therapy, High and Low Dose Rate (HDR & LDR) Brachytherapy, Gamma Knife & Linac-based Intracranial/Extracranial Stereotactic Radiosurgery, as well as radiopharmaceuticals.
Background / Education:
Dr. Wu received her M.D. from the University of Texas Houston Medical School in 2001. She completed her internship in Internal Medicine at Washington University’s Barnes Jewish Hospital in Saint Louis, Missouri in 2002. And she finished her residency training in Radiation Oncology at Washington University’s Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology in 2006.
