Calling the Office:
We are available for office visits and to receive telephone calls from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday and Wednesday: 409-938-8600.
If you call the center at other times and require urgent medical attention, our answering service will take your call and notify your doctor immediately.
Emergency & After Hours:
If you are experiencing a life-threatening medical emergency, please call 911 immediately. Upon arrival at the emergency room, ask the staff to call your Texas Oncology physician at 281-332-7505.
If you feel that you need an immediate medical consultation or advice regarding a serious condition, do not hesitate to call your Texas Oncology physician at 409-938-8600. If you call outside of center hours, we will page a physician on your behalf who will respond quickly. Since it may not be your personal physician who returns your call, you should be prepared to provide the following information to the attendant on duty:
- Your diagnosis
- Any chemotherapy drugs you are taking
- Your temperature
- The phone number of your pharmacy
