Celebrating the Holidays When a Loved One Has Cancer
12/22/2016- The holidays are a time when friends and family gather to celebrate traditions and make new memories. For cancer patients and their loved ones, the season is challenging. Dr. Thomas Fisher of Texas Oncology–San Antonio Southeast shares some tips to help families celebrate the holidays while coping with cancer.

11/12/2016- Tyisha Kemp, a 27-year-old Texas Oncology patient, was diagnosed with stage 4 colorectal cancer 22 weeks into her pregnancy. Dr. Ed Hesita of Texas Oncology–San Antonio Westover Hills is working to manage Tyisha's cancer without compromising the health of mother and baby.

11/10/2016- A San Antonio mother is fighting each day for two lives. Women have a one in 13,000 chance of being diagnosed with colon cancer while pregnant. Tyisha Kemp, 27, has been dealt those odds and is determined to beat them.
Major cancer center planned for San Antonio's Medical Center area
10/26/2016- Texas Oncology announced plans to build a new cancer center in San Antonio to replace the existing center on Medical Drive. The new facility will have seven procedure rooms, eight lab rooms, 52 chemotherapy chairs, and more than 30 exam rooms to treat approximately 300 patients per day.

5/23/2016- UVALDE, Texas, May 23, 2016 – Texas Oncology announces that Slavisa Gasic, M.D., Ph.D., has joined the practice as a full-time medical oncologist at Texas Oncology-Uvalde. Dr. Gasic specializes in medical oncology and hematology.
Texas Oncology Expands Into San Antonio With Addition of 31 New Physicians
11/3/2015- More than two-dozen physicians currently employed by Cancer Centers of South Texas are joining Texas Oncology, marking the Dallas-based oncology practice’s first push into San Antonio.
Cancer Care Centers of South Texas Joins Texas Oncology
10/28/2015- Texas Oncology announced that the physicians of Cancer Care Centers of South Texas (CCCST) are joining Texas Oncology, effective November 1, enhancing cancer treatment services to patients in the San Antonio area.
