Enhanced Treatment and Patient Services
As a comprehensive cancer center, Texas Oncology-Amarillo Cancer Center treats all types of cancer, from the most prevalent forms such as breast, prostate, skin, and lung to blood cancers such as leukemia and lymphoma. Best-in-class cancer treatments offered at the facility include radiation oncology technologies such as SRS, IGRT, IMRT, and 3D conformal radiotherapy, among others. We also offer genetic testing through the Hereditary Cancer Risk Assessment Program.
Beyond expert medical care, patients have access to on-site diagnostic capabilities, such as PET/CT, pharmacy, and lab services. In addition, our support services team is committed to addressing the needs of our patients during their cancer treatment.
Innovative Research and Clinical Trials
Texas Oncology-Amarillo Cancer Center patients have access to research that expands and enhances treatment options. This includes some of the most promising national clinical trials for a broad range of cancers. Through its affiliation with US Oncology and the US Oncology Research network, Texas Oncology participates in innovative clinical trials from Phase I through Phase IV, and has played a role in the development of 43 Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved cancer therapies.
