C. Allen Stringer, M.D., specializes in gynecologic oncology and is board certified with a special qualification in gynecologic oncology by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Dr. Stringer serves as secretary and director of the division of gynecologic oncology of Texas Oncology. He also serves as the chairman of the department of obstetrics and gynecology at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, Texas.
Dr. Stringer received his Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry from Baylor University in Waco, Texas; his Master’s degree from Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas and his medical degree from The University of Texas Medical School in Houston, Texas. He completed his internship and residency in obstetrics and gynecology at University of Texas Affiliated Hospitals in Houston, Texas, from 1976 to 1982, and his fellowship in gynecologic oncology at The University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas, from 1982 to 1984.
Dr. Stringer is a former faculty member of The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston and The University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center. He is a member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, Texas Medical Association, Society of Gynecologic Oncologists, and the American Society of Clinical Oncology.
