Louis Munoz, M.D., M.B.A., specializes in pediatric and adult radiation oncology with special clinical interests in prostate cancer and malignancies of the central nervous system, and is board certified in pediatrics, pediatric hematology/oncology, and radiation oncology by American Board Pediatrics and American Board of Radiology.
Dr. Munoz serves as treasurer and medical director of the division of radiation oncology for Texas Oncology.
Dr. Munoz received his undergraduate degree from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and his medical degree from University of Nebraska Medical Center. He completed his fellowship in pediatric hematology/oncology from 1977 to 1980 and his residency in radiation oncology from 1980 to 1982 at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in Baltimore, Md. He received his master of business administration in healthcare management from Our Lady of the Lake in San Antonio, Texas in 2001.
Dr. Munoz is a member of the American Society of Therapeutic Radiation and Oncology, Children’s Oncology Group, American College of Radiation Oncology, and American College of Radiation Oncology Board of Chancellors.
