Charles S. White, III, M.D., specializes in medical oncology and hematology. He is board certified in internal medicine, hematology, and medical oncology.
Dr. White has served as vice president of Texas Oncology and as president of the medical staff at Medical City Hospital, Dallas, Texas, since 1988, and on the Texas Oncology Board of Directors since 1986. He is also a member of US Oncology’s National Policy Board and Executive Committee of Pharmacy and Therapeutics.
Dr. White received his Bachelor of Arts in 1965 from Harvard University in Cambridge, MA, and his medical degree from The University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, Pittsburgh, Pa., in 1969. He completed an internship in 1970 and a residency in 1971 in internal medicine at Dallas Veterans Administration Hospital, Dallas, Texas. Dr. White completed a residency in internal medicine in 1974 and a combined hematology and medical oncology fellowship from 1974-1976 at The George Washington University Medical Center in Washington, D.C.
Dr. White has been named among the best doctors by D Magazine for many years. He is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology, Dallas County Medical Society, Texas Medical Association, American Society of Hematology, and Texas Society of Medical Oncology.
